At CadCraft3D, our mission is simple: to help people celebrate traditions while caring for the environment. We believe that every small step towards sustainability can make our planet richer with nature for future generations.

For more than three decades, our family has been dedicated to creating eco-friendly Ganesha idols. Today, we continue that journey with innovative Cow Dung Ganesha Idols that combine devotion, craftsmanship, and environmental responsibility.

Our Journey from Shadu Mati to Gomay Ganesha

It all began over 33 years ago with the creation of traditional Shadu Mati Ganesha idols. These idols offered a more environmentally responsible alternative to Plaster of Paris (POP) idols and helped countless families celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi in a sustainable way.

However, Kaushik constantly looked for ways to improve. While Shadu Mati idols are eco-friendly, they require extensive time and effort to produce and can be fragile during transportation and handling. This sparked a question: Could there be a better eco-friendly Ganesha idol that remains biodegradable while being lighter and easier to handle?

Driven by this vision, Kaushik started experimenting with natural cow dung as a raw material. What followed was a long journey of learning, testing, failures, and improvements. With patience and determination, the idea gradually evolved into the beautiful Gomay Ganesha Idols that we proudly offer today.

About CadCraft3D

Kaushik Gadre, the founder of CadCraft3D, is a mechanical engineer with a passion for designing machines, creating products, and solving problems through innovation. Growing up in a family that handcrafted Shadu Mati Ganesha idols, he was introduced to the art of idol making at a very young age. During his free time, he would eagerly assist his parents, developing a deep connection with both the craft and the traditions surrounding Ganesh Chaturthi.

After completing his engineering education, Kaushik spent nearly a decade working in Pune. However, despite pursuing a successful professional career, his passion for Ganesha idol making never faded. Whenever he had a holiday or a few days off, he would travel back home to help with idol making and continue learning the craft.

In 2019, driven by his desire to pursue his passion and create something meaningful, Kaushik made the life-changing decision to leave Pune and permanently settle in Sangli with his wife, Sukhada. This marked the beginning of a new chapter—one that combined his engineering mindset, creativity, and commitment to sustainability, eventually leading to the foundation of CadCraft3D and the development of innovative eco-friendly Gomay Ganesha idols.
